The Littoral Arts Trust asked me to write / design a text piece exploring the different connotations of the word Merz to be exhibited as part of the Merzdorf exhibition in the Royal College of Art, London. I investigated the different nuances of the word, using quotes by Schwitters himself (indicated by a ‘•’ at the end of the sentence), fragmenting and rewriting them.
